Persons who have resided in the Faroe Islands for either seven out of ten consecutive years or half of their life are classified as having long-term residency.

Long-term residency of the parents

Makes it possible to divide long-term residency of the person by long-term residency of the parents. In this context, a child is a person under the age of 18, and an adult is a person who is 18 years old or older.
