The indicator (average of balances), the balances (the differences between the percentages of respondents giving positive and negative replies) are are in the range from plus 100 to minus 100. A single value only makes sense when viewed in context with other answers to the same question. The figures show show development, current situation and expectations based on 6 questions asked twice a year in a survey of 20-25 construction companies. The questions refer to building activity, possible limiting factors, expected employment, expected changes in prices, and number of months' work contracted for.
