Including communication with institutes and clients, i.e. lending, enquiries, case considerations and services

2004

In 2004 the reading room was closed 1½ week due to an exhibition that 905 people attended

2009

In 2009 the National Archives closed it’s daily office services/operations for 7 weeks due to internal project work

2011

In 2011 the reading room was closed 5 weeks due to project work etc.

2012

In 2012 the reading room was closed 3 weeks due holidays

2013

In 2013 the reading room was closed 4 weeks due to project work and holidays

2014

In 2014 the reading room was closed 7 weeks due to holidays and internal project work etc.

2015

In 2015 was the reading room closed for 3 weeks because of the holidays, also was limited opening hours by almost a third because of project work

2016

In 2016, opening hours in the reading room were reduced by 1/3 compared to 2014 due to special circumstances

2018

In 2018, opening hours in the reading room were is limited to 3 days a week - 9 hours combined per week

2019

In 2019 the reading room was closed 4 weeks due holidays etc.

2020

In 2020 the reading room was closed 4 weeks due holidays, 8 weeks because of corona, 3 days because of sicknes and one day because of planning day.
